Fisherman on Lake Atitlán early in the morning, as the first light of the day hits the lake. We took lanchas (boats) across the lake, visiting the handful of quaint villages along its shore. We encountered a number of full moon ceremonies, and felt the presence and power of the lake in this culture’s sacred practices and daily rituals.
